Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending CFAW at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. I am hoping to go there to continue my education and study Music. That weekend truly made my decision easy!
For those of you who do not know, CFAW stands for College For A Weekend. It is a weekend where transfer students, high school seniors and juniors come to Liberty for a weekend. They stay in the dorms, go to concerts, go to classes, and eat in the dining hall. It is truly the college experience at the highest level!
I stayed in the Quads that weekend. I would recommend that for everyone! You have some many people that you can connect with without leaving your quad. There was so many Godly girls I meet that weekend. I know I have made friends that I can reconnect with once I get to Liberty.

I took the bus to my classes in the Religion Hall and Performance Arts Hall. It was great to have all the Music classes so close together. Both places where right across the road from each other I took the bus to the Liberty Bell stop and could walk to everything I need including the Dining Hall.
My classes where so awesome! I loved how every class started with a word of prayer. You don't find that in many colleges. The whole weekend I was amazed God truly was the center of that school. Like I say in my about me page I have a passion for music. Liberty just now started up there School of Music and that is exciting to me! I love starting something that is new. Just because the music program has this new name does not mean it has just began. Liberty has a well established music program. I have been interested in it for years! It was called the Center of Worship and Performing Arts. Now it will have a great concentration on music. I am excited to see what God will do with my life and many others through this program.
While I was a Liberty I had the option of going to a Switchfoot concert. I am going to be perfectly honest with you. I don't love Switchfoot. I like a few of Switchfoot's songs, not many. So, I decided to go to a play at the Tower Theater. It was wonderful! Liberty put on "The Glass Menagerie".
I saved the best for last! Convocation was awesome! Liberty has the largest number of young people weekly in North America! I am telling God is there. It was so amazing I started crying. Just ask my friends, I never cry. It's just not my thing. Louie Giglio was such a blessing. Really the whole weekend was. If you are looking for a school for yourself or your child I highly recommend Liberty University!
Go Flames!
